In 1973, I was gifted my first camera, an aged Brownie Hawkeye. Black electrical tape covered a split seam of the camera body so as to prevent a light leak onto the film. Nevertheless, the first images taken were of my horse and dog, both animals were willing subjects. Now, 52 years later, I am still photographing my animals, as well as clients' animals and their families. Professional Canon cameras and lenses are my equipment of choice. Studio and location portraiture, alongside photographing dog or horse action events have become the mainstay of my photography work(although I do shoot some travel & landscape for personal recreation). The photographs in the slideshow(on this page) convey my deep love for all my creatures, past and present, and the moments in a lifetime we are privileged to share. A professional experience, excitement for the session, and rapt attention are only three of the qualities, I strive to exhibit during a session. My hope is, is always, I have come away with a photograph you love, a sweet moment shared with the companion at your side, and we know each other for a lifetime.

Time spent with family, animals, and a camera is time well spent.
